Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), California residents may direct businesses to limit the use and disclosure of their sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the service.

The only sensitive information we use

The one piece of sensitive personal information TankPerks handles is your date of birth / age. We use it only to verify that you are 21 or older and eligible for age-restricted offers.

• We do not use your date of birth or age to infer characteristics about you.
• We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
• We do not sell or share it.

Because we already limit our use of your date of birth and age to age verification — a purpose the law permits without any need to limit further — there is no additional use to turn off. We honor requests to confirm this in writing anyway.
